Microsoft sign in and Entra for HQs and Apps
We're aware Chipp supports Bring‑Your‑Own‑Auth (a custom-hosted login page that transfers a token to Chipp), but that requires us to build and host our own auth layer. What we're asking for is native Microsoft/Entra integration, which we'd break into three levels — ordered from most to least needed: "Sign in with Microsoft" (most needed): A generic Microsoft sign-in option available to users of the HQ and Apps, similar to the existing Google sign-in option — no connection to our specific Entra tenant required, just a standard Microsoft account login option alongside existing sign-in methods. Direct Entra tenant connection for group-based access control and provisioning: Ability to connect our specific Entra tenant to Chipp HQ and individual apps for more granular control — specifically, mapping Entra/AD groups to determine which apps a user can see and access, and potentially using Entra for user provisioning (e.g., SCIM or a similar sync mechanism) so access can be managed centrally from our directory rather than manually inside Chipp. Note: we use an RBAC structure in AD where users are members of role-based security groups, which are then nested inside resource-based security groups (rather than being added to resource groups directly). If group mapping is supported, it would need to account for nested/transitive group membership, not just direct membership, in order to work with our setup. Multi-tenant support (lowest priority): Ability to connect more than one Entra tenant to the same Chipp workspace, since our organization spans multiple tenants. This is something we could work around in the near term if needed. We see these as three levels of the same overall request, and would value each one, but wanted to be clear about relative priority in case they're not all feasible at once.
Conversation Message Limit
We have a high message per user/conversation. As this is a free service (chatbot) we want to have the ability to ‘limit’ conversations that go over a determined amount. To have a configurable message that says something like “You have reached the message limit for the day, come back tomorrow”. This limit can be a cost or message counter, so don’t go above $10 per conversation or more than 30 messages. I like the cost option. The reason is that we recently had a user have a $50 conversation in one session.
"Mic access denied" message covers text in input box
After denying microphone access, a "Mic access denied" tooltip appears and overlaps the text input field, making it hard to see/type the message underneath: Could you please reposition the message so it doesn't cover the input box?
Highlight/select color too bright in light mode
The chatbot's default message highlight/select color is very bright/high-contrast in light mode, making it hard to read comfortably: This is especially important for users who want to copy/paste answers, which we do to help support users. Dark mode looks better by comparison, but still seems a bit bright. Could the highlight color be adjusted or muted for light mode, or made theme-aware?
Chat Starting Message - More Functionality
Current Starting message only allows for plain text. Is there any way to have more options to allow for hyperlinks. This is what we would like: By continuing, you agree to our terms of use and privacy policy. Instead of: By continuing, you agree to our terms of use (https://www.biblica.com/terms-of-use/) and privacy policy (https://www.biblica.com/privacy-policy/).
Chat Hamburger Menu - Remove
Would it be possible to have an option to remove the hamburger menu, or select which menu items are available. In some cases, we would remove all options and not even have a hamburger menu. Other chatbots we would remove history and bookmarks. Options for the Hamburger menu can be placed under Experience - Design There could be a toggle for each selection in the hamburger menu that could be toggled on or off (on by default).
Credits not being acknowledged
I just paid 40 euros credits but my apps are still telling users that I am out of credits. What’s going on? Another issue - the knowledge base is always telling me that it is temporarily down!!
Organization Limit for different models
In the old chipp, there was a setting where I could limit the ability of users to use certain models. You could turn off models. I can’t find this in the new Chipp. Is there there?
Customisable chat buttons
Can we add customizable persistent chat buttons that users can select at any time during conversation. for example if you are chatting to restaurant you may have always visible buttons like ‘menu’, ‘opening hours’ It can be then encoded in the prompt how to respond to these commands. I am not just talking about static answers, but also options like ‘summarise’ (to summarise chat) or ‘feedback’ (to give feedback on smth that was discussed.
Please Help! Bot not responding at times during stress-tests
When stress-testing, sometimes the AI Bot does not respond, only responding after I send it a message for a second time. It has just done this on three occasions now. Are you guys aware of this? It could pose a very serious issue when I'm trying to deliver on high customer service for clients, so a fix would be great if possible.
Google Analytics
I would love it if there were a really simple way to just drop a google analytics key into the a Chipp and then be able to track usage using Google Analytics.
Saving to Google Sheets
I have created a small test agent who is collecting information from some of our customers. At the end of the process, I assume the data is going to get stuck into the Google Sheets, but it never shows up there. I know it's connected because when I connected it, it created columns in a blank sheet that I had. Is there any magic to get this to just add this at the end of the chat?
End-user based API keys
I got the request from one of my paying end-users to get an API key so he can integrate the app in his business software. Since there is only a single key for the whole app I cannot give that to him because I’d lose all control. It would be create if there was an additional authentication layer, so end-users might have to use their email and password to use an API and there would need to be a mechanism to manage this, so only white-listed or subscribed users can use this.
Is it possible for a Telnyx agent to utilize Chipp?
I want to integrate with Telnyx so that I can handle a complicated phone routing scenario, but I want the AI agent to utilize Chipp since that is the source of learning. It looks like the Telnyx integration is for Chipp to perform outbound operations, but is it possible to turn Chipp into an authoritative source for Telnyx?
Manage users from mobile phone
Since there is still no API to programmatically subscribe and unsubscribe users, it would be great to have this options also on a mobile phone. On desktop, it’s there but I just tried this on mobile and there was no such pencil icon, like on desktop:
Down for Maintenance option
If something is wonky with Chipp or if we accidentally broke something, it would be great if there was a toggle to turn on a “Down for Maintenance” page. I get told within about 12 seconds of it going down because my email blows up :) hahaha If I could then just turn that on, it would keep the others from emailing me… or at least some of them.
Export chatlogs
download chatlogs doesn't work. Takes a long time and then stops without output.
Usage Analytics over time
It would be great to have the usage analytics also in a time-series, like token consumption per day within the last X days. Just a simple chart would be enough: x-axis the dates, y-axis token consumption per day. Ideally input and output separated. This would be interesting, for example, when I change knowledge sources or adjust the custom instructions. That way I could see the impact of these changes on the token consumption. But just in general it would interesting to see this over time, to detect peak consumption times or which day of the week the users are mostly active or to understand if the overall usage increases or decreases over time.
Turn off models
It would be great if the owner of a workspace could turn off the ability for users to select certain models and set the default model for new chipps. For example, if I only wanted my users to be build on Gemini, I could disable all other possible models. This would help control costs on team and business accounts.
