custom subdomain issue

I just made a collection form and when I went to assign it a custom subdomain that is an easier share. received the following- “This site can’t provide a secure connection. …sent an invalid response. ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR”

This is the same subdomain I am having trouble verifying user sign-up…the issue may not be user sign-up as I thought.
